In 2000, Westfield Friends sent a missions team to Highgate, Jamaica.  During the trip, the team erected a fence and completed electrical work at the Swift-Purscell Boy's School. 

Since that initial trip, several missions teams have been led to routinely travel to the country to serve the needs
of the community at both the Swift-Purscell Boy's School and the Lyndale Girl's Home. 

This year, a missions team consisting of 11 people from our congregation were dispatched to the Lyndale Girl's Home where they constructed a new "netball court" for the girls.  The team served in Jamaica April 1 - 8, 2006.
