— Youth Work Camps —

Our youth (ages 14-20) have an opportunity each year to travel to a youth workcamp where they help people in need make basic home repairs and improvements.  Our youth have painted houses, built porches, constructed wheelchair ramps, roofed, hung guttering, secured skirting on mobile homes and more.  This work is done mostly for

widows and the elderly who are on a fixed income and unable to physically or financially do the work themselves.

During the week at workcamp, we participate in devotions, worship services, talent shows and basketball tournaments.  We also take a day off for our "infamous" whitewater-rafting trip.

So far, our teams have worked in both Tennessee and Virginia.  The workcamps have had a profound effect on both the youth and the adult leaders who have had the opportunity to attend — it's truly a life-changing week at workcamp!

Please contact us if you would like more information about our upcoming youth workcamp.  Also, we invite you to visit the Group Workcamps Foundation to learn more about their organization.
